In this section, I am going to analyze how online tools that we can put to good use for our specific businesses. Then, Several tools that I chose are music sites. The reason why I decided to search this area is that I use music app everyday and I am curious about this business.
SoundCloud
This is a music app which anyone can stream own music they made for free, and we can enjoy both of posting music and listening to music. In this app, once we listen to a song you want, after playing music, 15 or 30 seconds advertisements appear. This advertisement could be a game app, a credit card company, and so on. In this way, many kinds of businesses are using SoundCloud as an advertisement. I think this is effective to develop a business. Recently, a lot of people enjoy music on their smart phones or computers, and we are looking for an attractive streaming service. Then, this app is so famous, any businesses can use it to advertise.
Apple Music
I chose this app as I use and enjoy it everyday, and I think this is a good comparison target to analyze these similar music businesses. First of all, the biggest difference between SoundCloud and Apple Music is that whether we should pay to get this app. As I said before, SoundCloud is a free service, basically. On the other hand, we have to purchase it to get and listen to music. Therefore, users do not need to watch or hear advertisements after a song because they buy it. So businesses cannot introduce by themselves as an advertisement to users. However, it is beneficial for musicians because when they would be popular and their songs are sold very well, they are shown up in rankings. For musicians, this app is going to be great advertisement. Like this, a business cannot join this app as an advertisement, so Apple Music is not suitable for a business.
In conclusion, I figured it out that SoundCloud is suitable for a business which wants to be success because businesses can offer this company to advertise their businesses and products. By doing so, we can get more customers and benefit. If I start my business, I will use this app to advertise my business.
